Bleep – an instant messaging application that uses peer-to-peer (P2P) technology as the communication medium. This allows two chatters to enjoy increased privacy, as messages travel directly between users’ computers, bypassing the unnecessary server hosting the service. Furthermore, incognito login is possible without the need for a user account, further enhancing information confidentiality.

The program is very easy to use, but currently offers only basic functionality (currently available only as an early test version, the Alpha development edition). The application allows you to conveniently log in to your account, manage your contacts, and conduct text conversations. The program’s settings allow, among other things, deleting history and editing contact information. A very interesting solution is the pairing of the desktop messenger settings with its mobile version and sharing account information with friends. Both of these activities are performed using QR codes generated by the application, which simply need to be scanned with your smartphone’s camera.

It offers an innovative approach to harnessing the potential of peer-to-peer connections as a link that enhances the security of user conversations. Detailed information on the manufacturer’s website and versions of the program available for several platforms (including mobile) suggest that the project will expand significantly in the near future, offering users stable versions with significantly enhanced functionality compared to its current offerings.
