PHP-Nuke – a content management system based on PHP and MySQL. It is fully browser-based.
It is a fork of the Thatware news system.
PHP-Nuke is licensed under the GNU General Public License. Since version 7.5 (the last released by Francisco Burzi), it has been available for a fee. PHP-Nuke 7.5 was the first version to require a $10 fee. This is permitted under the GNU GPL (provided the source code is made available), but the purchaser of the product has the right to freely distribute the source code. The fee only applies to the latest version of PHP-Nuke; previous versions can be downloaded for free.
The currently available version, version 8.2, is once again freely available on the project’s official website.
