Exponent CMS – a website content management system that allows site owners to easily create and manage dynamic websites without necessarily directly coding web pages, or managing site navigation.
Exponent uses an intuitive and flexible content editing system that allows website pages to be edited on the page as it is displayed – no more back-end administration, no more navigating endless administration pages to add a simple line of text – simply visit the page you need to edit as if you were a site visitor, and make the change.
Exponent also includes several sample sites which may be loaded during installation to help get started with a specific site type such as a Blog site, an eCommerce site, or a multi-purpose site.
Exponent is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
Exponent CMS was originally written and designed by James Hunt of OIC Group, Inc, starting in 2001.
