JWiki (JavaWiki) – a wiki engine released in 1997, which was the first implementation of WikiWikiWeb in the Java language, and the first to be back-ended by a database.
It was developed by Ricardo Clements, a former co-worker of Ward Cunningham, the creator of Wiki Base.
