Microweber – an open-source website building tool and content management system.
Microweber is built using the PHP programming language and the Laravel 8 web application framework, with built-in drag-and-drop technology that allows users to quickly create content, simultaneously plan and manage multiple screens.
It has a live editing feature that allows users to review content as it is entered. Developers have free access to the code, sharing their knowledge and contributions with the rest of the open-source community on GitHub.
Features:
– Live Editing – Content can be edited directly in the website interface, without having to switch between the admin panel and the website to see what the content looks like. “Live” means working with the content of the website whenever the user feels like it, changing module settings and rearranging elements as they see fit.
– Drag and Drop – allows you to manage the content and layout of the page elements with a single mouse click, by dragging and dropping them on the screen. The use of “Drag and Drop” technology applies to all types of content.
– WYSIWYG HTML Editor – text and graphics can be edited in a form that closely resembles how it will look when displayed as a finished product. Microweber also has an admin panel, so users can switch between different views depending on their preferences.
– Online Store – a complete online store builder is included by default, which is available for free and includes built-in order management and tracking, automatic sending of order emails, flexible payment and shipping options.
– Blog – a fully complete blog creator is included, allowing you to create a blog using the included templates or create your own template based on ready-made, modifiable elements.
– Visitor Statistics – Users can track how their website, online store or blog is performing. This tool can be used on its own or in conjunction with other analytical packages, such as Google Analytics.
– Multilingual Interface – Both the administration panel and the modules and content of the website can be easily configured thanks to the available language packs provided by the open source community. The language module built into Microweber allows you to share your own translations of the administration panel, modules or website template content with other community members with one click. The multilingual module allows you to automatically select the language version using the geolocation function or the language version of the operating system or the language of the web browser.
– Templates – Microweber provides a set of templates for modification, allowing you to quickly create new projects with non-standard content in line with the user’s preferences. Changing the design template does not affect the content in any way – user information remains intact, so they can smoothly move to the new look of their site. Templates, like other design elements, are made available under the Open Source license, which means that anyone can add templates at will – from software and web design companies to freelancers, professional programmers, etc. The system also allows creators to share their projects or sell templates and gain financial benefits from it.
– Modules – the Microweber application is modular, thanks to which new functions can be added by converting from CMS systems based on the Laravel framework. The modular system also allows for precise customization of the application to your own needs.
