CMSimple – an easy-to-use, free CMS. It is written in PHP. It does not use databases, the recording goes directly to the html file on the server. Configuration files and language files are saved in text format. CMSimple is positioned as a tool for creating small personal or commercial sites, business card sites. The maximum recommended site size is up to 1 thousand text pages of 2000 characters.

Thanks to a plugin like RealBlog in CMSimple, the limit on the site size and number of pages has become less strict. The RealBlog_XH plugin for CMSimple_XH, based on SQlite 3, made it possible to work with tens of thousands of articles.

Features:
– all site content in CMSimple_XH 1.6 and higher is contained in one file content.htm, editing is possible directly, although there is a convenient page manager.
– all site content in CMSimple 4.X.X is contained in the file content.php, and design features in the file pagedata.php, so editing is possible only through the page manager, otherwise file synchronization is disrupted;
– extremely simple installation: just upload the distribution files to the server;
– a large number of templates;
– Built-in WYSIWYG editor;
– plug-in plugins;
– the ability to create multilingual sites;

There are three CMSimple forks are now available:
– CMSimple Classic version 3.54, compatible with backward compatibility and supported by Preben Bjorn Biermann Madsen.
– CMSimple 5.x.x from Gert Ebersbach
– CMSimple_XH 1.x.x from independent community.
