Day One – a personal, proprietary blogging app which offers sync data with multiple devices; End-to-end encryption, markdown authoring of entries; Location, weather, date, time and other automatic metadata and reminders.

The Day One app lets you publish selected entries to a Day One hosted web page and share them across Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other social services.

On June 12, 2017, BloomBuilt added end-to-end encryption to the Day 1 app after two years of development. The update was the culmination of sync services that launched in 2015 as an alternative to iCloud and Dropbox sync.

Day One was acquired by Automattic, the owner of WordPress.com, on June 14, 2021.
