Enonic – a web application platform and publishing tool in one available as open source, based on Java and Elasticsearch.

The service was developed by the Norwegian ICT company Enonic and can be used to build progressive web applications (PWA), websites or web-based APIs. Enonic XP uses an application framework for programming server logic with JavaScript and has no need for SQL as it comes fully equipped with an integrated content store. Enonic is used by large organizations in Norway, including Posten, Gjensidige, Norsk Tipping, NAV and all the football clubs in the Eliteserien.

Enonic gives developers full flexibility with structured content and APIs, while content editors get an intuitive experience, with visual page editing and real-time preview.
