Phriction – a simple and easy to use wiki for keeping track of documents and their changes. Anyone in your organization can add, edit, or improve the page and a complete history with differences is kept. Roll back to old changes anytime hijinks ensue, or leave them up if the hijinks are hilarious.

Phabricator – a set of browser-based programming tools for group work. Phabricator integrates with Git, Mercurial and Subversion. It is available under the Apache License, version 2.

Phabricator includes tools such as:
– Differential – code inspection
– Diffusion – repository browser
– Herald – change tracking
– Maniphest – bug reporting
– Phriction – wiki

The system was originally created as an internal tool of Facebook. Phabricator’s lead developer is Evan Priestley, a former Facebook employee who left FB to develop it as a product in his company Phacility.

Since November 2014, it has been launched as the Wikimedia Foundation’s comprehensive collaborative platform and, among other things, replaced the Bugzilla system.

On May 29, 2021, Phacility announced that it would cease operations and cease development of the product as of June 1. The Phabricator user community is trying to continue developing it in the form of a fork called Phorge.
