WS_FTP (WinSock File Transfer Protocol) – a secure file transfer application created by John A. Junod in 1993, and sold in 1996 to Ipswitch, Inc. The software is split into two applications: an FTP server and an FTP client. The client app provides SFTP transfers with the highest levels of encryption, is easy to use and customize, and reduces administrative burden.
