RSSTail – a more or less a rss reader – it monitors a rss-feed and if it detects a new entry it’ll emit only that new entry.
RSSTail is a simple RSS feed reader designed for the Linux platform. It works only in text mode, if new information appears, the program immediately displays the corresponding entry. The user has the option of setting up what time the selected site will be checked.
Please note that RSSTail requires libmrss in version 0.16 minimum.
