ReText – a simple but powerful editor for Markdown and reStructuredText markup languages. One can also add support for custom markups using Python modules.
ReText requires the Python interpreter and PyQt libraries.
The application offers support for MarkDown, distraction-free mode, WYSIWYG editor, live preview, tabs, math formulas, export to various formats including PDF and HTML.
Supported output formats are: Plain text, HTML, ODT, PDF.
Also, ReText can upload documents to Google Docs.
