Maxthon (Maxthon Cloud Browser; previously: MyIE2) – a freeware web browser developed by a Chinese company Maxthon Ltd. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Windows Phone 8. Maxthon supports two web browser engines: WebKit and Trident, for non-compliant websites.

On July 14, 2016, Exatel security experts discovered that the browser behaves like spyware, sending to Chinese servers series of data of using the browser, installed plugins and user’s computer’s content – all addresses of visited websites, search keywords, as well as information about an operating system and all programs installed on the computer, including the exact versions.
